Definition and background:

A soft tremolo performed on a harp by lightly and rapidly moving fingers back and forth across the strings. Whispering; i.e., a special tremolo effect on the harp where a chord or note is rapidly repeated at a low volume. Harp technique wherein a tremolo effect is produced by quick repeated finger action
